My dodrio, Della, when she’s first evolved. Looking more like a dodrio lolol (well, hopefully : ))))) I wanted to draw her looking more natural and more like her pokemon since her normal design is so nondescript since she dyes her hair and doesn’t have her feather tail out (no way she wants to cut holes into her dresses lol)
At the moment she’s sad because… the guy she had been seeing for (I think close on 2 years) has properly broken it off with her as he can’t handle her constant mood swings anymore (fair enough, she does get violent if she gets too mad). But the way he did it was pretty cold and he said they never really were together anyway (just friends with benefits). So she flipped out crazy sads and evolved, which is why her third emotion is SAD. So she can get really depressed.

Some of my gijinkas - I thought it could be interesting if I made them less pokemony and more humany. Not sure I like how they came out. It’s hard to resist the urge to colour Sofiel’s skin green and plant a giant flower on her back. But I do see a lot of people making gijinkas where their hair and clothes only associate with the pokemon, and though I’m not a huge fan of that kind of thing I thought that it’d be a kind of challenge for me if I gave it a shot (?) while not completely doing like… pokemon costumes or anything.. so it’s more like… my gijinkas as humans… idk what i’m writing anymore coz i’m high on flu medication awww yeahhhhhh the end.
